The following rules are needed to guarantee maximum health for building occupants and the planet.

• The walls are able to breathe, so no vapour barriers, or vapour proof paints are used.
• The negative CO2 emissions from the wood is greater than the emissions of all other materials in the structure of the building.
•  Fast growing softwoods are replanted on the same, or equivalent site, after harvest to continue absorbing CO2 rapidly from the atmosphere.
